Ebony African vase
Height: 27cm Diam: 9cm Appears to be made of Ebony wood
Family owned, probably purchased in Africa in the 1970's solid piece of wood with 3 male figures and 2 snakes. One snake has its head facing the top of the vase; the other snake is facing down with its tail at the top. The vase is very shallow and is covered in intricate designs of different patterns.

The presented object appears to be a wood carving with measurements of 27 cm height and a diameter of 9 cm. The carving depicts a vessel or vase hold by three men in traditional African costumes and two snakes. This carving was made out of ebony wood or ironwood and was produced as a souvenir for tourists in the last third of the 20th century.
This piece is in good condition and there is no serious damage visible in the images provided.
