This is an antique, 19th century, framed original oil painting by the Russian painter, Ivan Konstantinovich Aivazovsky (1817 - 1900). It is titled Egypt and dated 1843. He is most well-known as a seascape painter. He was quite prolific which is exemplified by the long and strong auction history of past sales.
