Hi Greg
Thank you for contacting Mearto with your appraisal inquiry.
While this *might* be Egyptian and almost certainly circa 1000 BCE, there are structural and stylistic elements that suggest this might be from other parts of the Middle- and Near-East. Among these are the flared T-shaped handle and the comparatively thin handle and tang. The wear on the blade is quite uneven - it would not have thinned in the center of the blade and bulged out at the tip.
It is a bit more accurate to say "Near Eastern Bronze Age" which isn't quite so specific.
Did the dealer you acquired this from analyze the materials and/or provide you with an idea of where they got this?
In its current condition, it rates a value of $150-300
