I am no sure what happened here, whether or not you can see the appraisal. I answered on June 11th:
Thank you for submitting your item for appraisal. This appears to be a Benin Style carved wooden box from Nigeria. The lid is decorated with three heads of Oba and two potted plants, the sides with depictions of elephants, buildings, people and plants. The hinges and construction is 20th century, which would indicate that your familiy provenance ist correct. Any further information of when and where it was obtained would help to increase the value.
There is no measurement for the sentimental value you might attach to it. The estimate is 400-600 USD.
