"Rusty" Rust (born 1932), a very industrious artist who is known to have painted more than 15 000 paintings, among his many realist style paintings his pin up girl paintings are best known. There are also reproduction prints around, but he obviously also painted series of identical motifs, just as this one. The gallery you bought it from existed from 1980-1986, it can therefore be dated to this period. The estimate is based on similar paintings sold at auction, retail prices in the trade can be higher and vary. There is no measurement for the sentimental value you might attach to the item.
