Engraved Brass or Bronze Teapot
Engraving of characters on all six sides - has an animal's head on the end of the spout. Weight is 2.5 pounds It appears to be pounded metal.
Measurements:12 tall to top of lid9 inches to tip of handle to tip of spout5 inches deep.
This belonged to a family who had other Asian or Middle Eastern items like this vessel. We have other as well.

This is a vintage brass Chinese teapot featuring lovely etched details. This piece is in good vintage condition, although there are some signs of wear to the finish which is common in vintage brass and adds to the charm of the piece.
These types of objects were mass produced during mid to late 20th century.
