Brass wall lamp with milk glass shade
Unknown
Hi Heidi,
Thank you for contacting Mearto with your appraisal inquiry.
I haven't found which company had the FAL mark but it's got a wonderful Art Nouveau quality; I've valued this as a group of four sconces, valued separately from the shades so you know what each are worth.
Based on the photos and information provided, and subject to examination, this is:
A set of four Art Nouveau brass wall sconce
early 20th Century, with maker's monogram FAL to the interior
$300-500 ($75-125 each)
together with
three conical white milk-glass shades $75-105 ($25-35 each)
one opaque pressed glass fluted shade $50-75
PROVENANCE: inherited
$425-680*
*represents a fair-market value for auction purposes; retail or asking price may vary.
Please let us know if you have additional items to appraise, and thank you again for using Mearto.
Thanks, you're all set Heidi
Thanks very much!
Thanks Delia, there are a total of 4 bases, and 3 of them have the less ornate milk glass. There's just one of the ornate fluted ones.
