Based on the photos and information provided, and subject to examination, this is:
A pair of vintage Regency style mahogany caned open armchairs
In the English taste, late 19th Century
Each with oval back with molded rim, shield-form seat with serpentine front rail, curved molded arms raised on fluted supports, all on four molded fluted tapering legs.
Overall height 39 inches; width of seat 23 inches, depth of seat 19 1/2 inches
CONDITION: not examined in person but condition and wear appears to be commensurate with age and use. Patina is warm and mellow and appears to be original, as does the caning.

Seat width 23”; floor to seat 18” fabric cushion seat 2” so floor to seat with cushion is 20”. Depth of seat 19 1/2”; floor to top of chair 39”; back width of 18” (not including back curve) back width with curve is 19”; floor to arm is 28 1/8”; arm length is 14”.
