The signature of the artist and the foundry stamps are usually on the top or the side of the base.

Dear Georg. I've tried to look for a stamp or a signature. I checked all around the base and couldn't find anything. Can you suggest somewhere else I could look and what I might be looking for? The inside is not smooth (looks like the bricks) and it's hard to see. Thank you Toni
