The materials are from when the British / French / Portuguese ruled India and the embroidery is of metal thread dipped in silver / gold water.

Thank you for submitting your item for appraisal . This appears to be a pulpit antependium, in the center st. antony is shown embracing Christ on the cross, surrounded by (faded) pink (formerly red) tiger-lylies. Judging from the style and needlework this was done in a provincial area, possibly in China. The overall condition appears to be rather fragile and threadbare in places. The estimate is based on similar items offered or sold at auction.
