Flintridge "Marquis" fine china irregular pieces
27 April 2021
Description

My grandmother once worked in the Flintridge china factory in Pasadena, California. When she died, she left me a huge set of Flintridge Marquis Coupe china which I still have. There are several pieces, however, (mainly coffee cups and 2-handled soup bowls) that are quite unusual. Some of them have the inside surfaces lined with gold instead of the white porcelain that others are. Others are have solid bronze or copper and gold covering the outside surfaces and gold on the inside. They are all bearing the Flintridge logo. I am looking to have them appraised to give me an idea of their value. I can send photos.

Provenance

My grandmother worked for the Flintridge factory in Pasadena, California during the 1950s. She gave them to me after I graduated high school in 1960. She has since passed.
