Oil on canvas in a wood/acryllic frame painted silver and black. It is signed in the lower right corner by Geyer with the numbers 79 underneath. Painting is 11” wide by 14” tall. With the frame it is 14” by 17”. Paint on canvas is very thick and textured.

Thank you for your request. This is a painting made in oil on canvas with the measurements of 14 to 11 inches. The painting depicts a flower bouquet and is signed and dated in the right corner with Geyer and 1979. This painting was made by the German artist Hermann Geyer (1934-2016) who mainly painted flower bouquets and some cityscapes. The painting looks in a very good condition an no damages are visible. Just the canvas is foxed because the painting was stored in a wet environment.
An estimation would be between 800 and 1400 USD.
This estimation is based on actual recent past recorded auction sales of comparables. Retail "asking prices" can be higher and vary.

I am very sorry for the late answer, but because of a technical issue, I didn't receive your email. Hermann Geyer painted mainly landscapes, but there are some works on paper which depict flower bouquets. It is a bit difficult for you to research because we use among others sources auction result lists and Hermann Geyer is mainly sold in Germany.
