My son found this fossil down by the greenbrier river in Marlinton West Virginia and it appears to have a carving of a circle with a triangle inside of the circle and when I googled a picture of it google said it was a fossilized hand tool possibly a hammer or smashing rock from the paleo era however when I submitted a picture of it to my Meta AI it states that it was a fossilized skull of a small animal possibly from the paleo era so now I’m curious to know exactly what it is and if it is actually from the paleo era and if it has any value it also is relatively heavy for its small size and it is smooth for the most part but has a few rough-like spots on it as well it is light in color almost white but it is a light beige and appears to have layers of purples and browns in it……
It is around 6 inches long and the widest part is around 3 inches and is also around 3-4 inches thick
