Three Giant Clam (Tridacna Gigas) Half Shells

Giant Clams are gentle giants and appear often in folklore and traditional Southern Pacific Ocean Cultural traditions. Each example has a lustrous cream and pink interior and nicely shaped form.The half- shells appear to not have been treated and have minimal abrasions to the outer shell and matrix. Some residue to the exterior and interior of each specimen. Varying Dimensions: Approximate 10 in x 10 in x 5 in and 8 in x 8 in x 4 measurement range. Unknown weight. It is important to recognize local, state, US federal, and International laws and prohibitions of sale and shipment; including the US Marine Mammals Protection Act and US Endangered Species Act. Review of Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Flora and Fauna (CITES) Appendix II and in person authentication of age will be needed to determine sale.
