Fossilised Tooth
02 February 2026
Description

I found this on a walk in the Peak District England, it’s in good condition but i’m just wanting to know if it is infact a fossilised tooth or not. It is quite sharp at the edge and had what looks to be space where the root of the tooth would have been. It did in fact stick to my tongue when i did the typical “lick test” and it has irregular markings similar to bone and not a smooth surface.
