Hi Jason,
Thank you for contacting Mearto with your appraisal inquiry. So that I may best assist you, can you please advise on the dimensions (height, width and length) of this piece?
Also, do you know the name of the designer? There have been a few who worked with bone veneer and there can be a range in value.
Thanks!
Delia
Thanks, Jason,
The aged bone veneer will have devalued this as it will be costly to replace, assuming it isn't ivory, which is now very difficult to sell unless it is more than 100 years old.
Based on the photos and information provided, and subject to examination, this is:
A vintage modern bone-veneered bar cabinet
Possibly South American, late 20th Century
The rounded-corner top over a receding vertically stepped front, the reverse with recessed counter over three cupboard doors opening to a shelved and divided interior.
41 inches high, 63 inches wide, 25 inches deep
$4,000-6,000*
*represents a fair-market value for auction purposes; retail or asking price may vary.
Please let us know if you have additional items to appraise, and thank you for using Mearto.
I unfortunately don’t know the name of the designer. The dimensions are 41”H x 25”D x 63” W. The bone veneer seems to be quite aged. I also have more pictures.
