A Louis XVI style carved giltwood double chaise
French, late 19th/early 20th Century
Each end with a high rounded back continuing to giltwood arms, upholstered within the frame in plum velvet, the seat slightly tapered in the center, all raised on eight short giltwood legs
36 inches overall height; overall length 72 inches
CONDITION: wear appears to be commensurate with age and use; upholstery probably replaced.
