19th Century French (Sèvres style / Napoleon III Period, c. 1870–1890) heavy hinged porcelain dresser box in cobalt blue with elaborate gilded scrolling filigree, hand-painted pastoral courting scene on lid, and brass/ormolu mounts and latch. Signed on the lid painting by the artist (Leber); incised manufacturer's mark on base.
