A painting cartoon of a cut-off penis in horizontal position with a safety pin in the tip. It is being riden (like a horse) by a black crow, and a landscape with trees, and a clock house. It has a wind-up in the back, and is held up by legs in the back and wheels in the front.

Dear Linda,
Thank you for contacting Mearto with your appraisal inquiry and for supplying me with the dimensions. Carlos Rodriquez Yorde does not have any secondary (auction) sales with which to use as a basis for a fair-market appraisal so I have considered recent auction sales of Surrealist 20th/21st century school works of roughly the same size to gauge the current fair-market value for this work.
Based on the photographs and information provided, and subject to examination, this is:
Carlos Rodriquez Yorde (Cuban American, 20th/21st Century)
"Frustraciones Que Matan" 2014
oil or acrylic on canvas
10 3/4 by 18 3/4 inches
signed, titled and dated on the reverse
Provenance: Laura Buxton Check
$300-500 (represents a fair-market value for auction purposes; retail or asking prices may vary.)
Please let us know if you have additional items to appraise, and thank you for using Mearto.
The painting with it’s frame measures 18 3/4” wide x 10 3/4” height.
