Dear Kiogora,
Thank you for your request. The presented object is a sculpture with measurements of 50 cm x 20 cm which depict a young man who sits on a piece of wood. It was made out of a terracotta mass out of clay with gypsum as a binder to improve the stability of the mass. Inside of the sculpture we have surely a framework to stabilize fragile elements like the arms for example. This sculpture was made by David KIGOZI (1975) who was born in Uganda, Kampala and his paintings are offered in the international auction market and in galleries for contemporary art. Sadly his paintings are not sold in the auction so his establishment in the auction market will happen the next years.
This piece is in good condition and there are no serious damages visible.
A base auction estimation would be between 500 to 1000 USD.
This estimation is based on actual recent past recorded auction sales of comparables. Retail "asking prices" can be higher and vary.
With best regards,
Georg
