Gateleg dropleaf table with six legs. Rectangular. Not sure of wood--maybe walnut? Two drawers. One with brass pull; other missing. Tabletop dimensions when extended: 43.75" by 36". Height is 29".

A Colonial Revival turned walnut(?) drop-leaf six-leg dining table
New England, late 19th Century
The rectangular rounded edged top with hinged drop leaves over a frame fitted with drawers at either end, raised on six baluster and reel-turned legs, two with fly-legs to support the drop-leaves when raised.
29 inches high. Top 36 by 43 3/4 inches, extended.
CONDITION: wear commensurate with age and use; one leg appears to have a later abraded surface.
