Greetings David - Would you please try re-taking your photos? These are a bit too blurry and I'll also ask for an image of the base.
I look forward to assisting you.
Sincerely,
Erin-Marie
I'll do my best with these, can you let me know is "1437" the only mark on the base of the piece or are their any additional identifiers?
Sincerely,
Erin-Marie
What you have is called a "Regimental Beer Stein" and the value varies depending upon the regiment, decoration and condition. Some have a special "hidden" bit in the base and I wonder if yours does. Have you held it up to the light to see if there is a picture in the base? If there is one, then we would called this a "Lithophane Regimental Beer Stein" and I like to know what the image is of because that can help to date your example.
Sincerely,
Erin-Marie
Sent new photos still a little blurry though
