The mark "Made in Germany" was used on pieces made for export outside Germany as of 1887 and was in place until 1945; it was not used again until Germany unified in 1989. Judging from the decoration, I would guess this to have been made in the early 20th Century, 1900-1920.

Unattributed maker, Made in Germany, circa 1900-1920
Of jug form with large strap handle, the body decorated with figures seated at a table, the underside marked 'MADE IN GERMANY / 2042'; fitted as a lamp
Jug 12 inches; overall height 24 inches. diameter 8-10 inches
PROVENANCE: Inherited from grandmother
CONDITION: not examined in person but appears to be in generally good working condition; underside with crack.
