The presented object appears to be an Imperial German WWI so-called "Pickelhaube" for a member of the Prussian army. The eagle emblem is damaged and the strap is missing. It was made before 1918.
This piece is in medium condition and there is damage visible in the images provided.
A fair market estimation would be between 250 to 500 USD.
