The vessel is a 1944 World War II US Army naval steel vessel that actively served during the Pacific Campaign in 1944 and 1945. The vessel is the Fret and Supply US Army FS 313 (afterwards named "Betsy Ross"), Camano class, Design 381, shipbuilder Mathis John H., Camden NJ, manned by USCG during the war. She received two Battle Stars for Guam battle and Okinawa battle and have an heavy history and documentation. We invested a lot of money to render the vessel fully operational, navigating and in perfect original condition, to preserve this unique patrimony. Fully re-equipped with imported neutralized original armament 1 Bofors 40mm marine model 1 Oerlikon 20mm on Gadza Ri pedestal 2 machine guns .50 Cal on single pedestal 4 machine guns .50 Cal on double pedestal The ship retain his complete original machinery, electrical systems, compasses, Fathometer, Sperry gyro and repeaters, and every other instruments and systems all in working condition. To the absolute best of our technical documentation and architectural research, this vessel stands as the last surviving operational example in original condition of its specific WWII naval configuration anywhere in the world. The only other sister-ship still existing is the AGER 2, heavily modified in spy ship, seized and detained by North Korea during the Cold War.
