A three piece Japanese export gilt porcelain tea service
GioKusei in the Seto Nagoya style, early 20th Century
comprising a tea pot, double-handle covered sugar bowl and cream pitcher; each depicting female figures in landscapes; marked to the bottom.
1) 6 1/2 by 8 inches, with 3 by 4 inch lid
2) 6 by 4 1/2 inches, with 3 by 2 inch lid
3) 5 3/4 by 4 inches, with 2 by 2 inch lid
CONDITION: appear to be in good condition; some minor wear is expected
PROVENANCE: purchased in Japan about 100 years ago, thence by inheritance
