Hi Janet,
Thank you for contacting Mearto with your appraisal inquiry.
Opened in 1953, Gaddi’s quickly became Hong Kong’s premier fine-dining venue and was even hailed as “the best restaurant east of the Suez” at its inception. Since then, it has earned a revered place in the city’s culinary history. The restaurant is housed in the former grand ballroom of The Peninsula, elegantly evoking old-world glamour. Its décor includes crystal-and-silver chandeliers from Paris, Tai Ping carpets, and a Chinese coromandel screen dating back to 1670. The ambiance blends European refinement with local heritage, creating an atmosphere both majestic and uniquely Hong Kong.
It's unlikely this menu was framed in such a way if it was regularly used; it's more likely this was framed specially.
I suspect this would have greater interest among Hong Kong buyers, where it might sell for between HKD400-600, roughly US$50-75 ; I would be surprised if you could get that at a US auction.
Based on the photos and information provided, and subject to examination, this is:
