? Origin unknown…green glass bowl.
12cm x 12cm x 4cm
Hello, this item is a late 20th-century Italian green lead-crystal decorative bowl or ashtray, probably dating to circa 1970s–1990s. The surviving oval foil label reads “Royal Gallery,” “24% Lead Crystal,” and “Made in Italy,” which provides a useful attribution to Italian production rather than Murano specifically. The piece measures approximately 12 × 12 × 4 cm and is formed from heavy emerald-green crystal with a deeply recessed circular well and broad multi-faceted geometric exterior. The cut and polished facets create strong optical reflections and are typical of decorative Italian lead-crystal tableware and giftware from the later 20th century.
The original label adds some collector interest, but Royal Gallery pieces generally trade as decorative crystal rather than as high-end documented Murano glass. The photographs show a complete example with good clarity and no obvious major chips or cracks, although minor surface wear should be expected from use. Its strong green color, substantial faceted form, and retained factory label make it more desirable than an unidentified unmarked example, but the current market remains relatively modest for this category.
