About 25cm high, and made out of what looks to be 3 layers og glass. White om the inside, mixed colors inn the middle layer, and a clear glass exterior.
The item was passed down, and came from my great grandmothers childhood Home. From what i have heard, they traded goods from all over the world, and had a lot of money.
Happy New Year Herman,
Thank you for contacting Mearto with your appraisal inquiry.
This is a beautiful vase; the marbling of the multicolored glass makes a striking comparison with the clear handles. The work is exceptional and suggests this may have been made in one of the better ateliers but the lack of a signature is puzzling to me.
Based on the photographs and information provided, and subject to examination, this is:
A Murano marbled baluster form vase
Possibly by Barovier, mid 20th century
White interior, clear handles
25 cm high
$500-800 (represents a fair-market value for auction purposes; retail or asking price may vary).
