The appraised work is a blown glass vase created by artists Brodie Naim and Nichola Burns of Glasstorm studio in Tain, Scotland. The studio was established in 2005 and specializes in blown glass pieces and decorative finishes using Italian, Swedish, and English techniques. The appraised vase was “free blown” with bright pink stripes and heated at a higher temperature to allow for sculpting the vase’s bulbous shape.
