Thank you for submitting your item for appraisal. This appears to be modern chinese pot metal statue vaguely resembling the famous Gloria Victis sculpture by MARIUS-JEAN-ANTONIN MERCIE (French, 1845-1916) from 1874. The statue in your posession was made in the 1990s or later in the lost wax technique. There will definitely be no Ferdinand Barbedienne foundry mark. If the statue bears a signature I would have to describe it as a fake. Correctly described as "after Mercié" the value would be in the range of one thousand US $. An original cast of similar size and of the period, circa 1875, sold for approximately 100 000 including premium not long ago. Unfortunately the statue shown in the photos is a modern reproduction.
