I have Home from the Market and The Photographer. Both have Goebel stamp, are dated and numbered
My husband received them as gifts
Hi Jean,
Thank you for contacting Mearto with your appraisal inquiry.
We get a LOT of inquiries about Hummel figurines; while they have an inherent charm and were highly desirable among collectors in the 1950s-1970s, they have not retained the same interest among collectors today and there are far more on the market than there are buyers - it's a case of supply far outstripping demand. As a result, the values individual Hummel figures currently bring at auction (which are the values Mearto provides) are fairly low - most bring between $10-30 at auction and MOST auction houses will sell several Hummel figures together in a group, to minimize costs to the seller.
If you'd like this appraisal to include dimensions, which is typical, please forward the height of these figures and I'll update this ASAP.
