Very heavy gold stamped inside
Was my mother’s mother’s. My mother had her initials engraved when she inherited it.
Thank you for submitting your item for appraisal. This appears to be a victorian era mid 19th century ladies pocket watch. The hallmarks are difficult to decipher, but the London assay office hallmark is clearly visible, and the larger hallmark certifies 18K gold. Date letter and maker´s or sponsor´s mark can not be determined. The estimate is based on similar pocket watches sold recently at auctions. "Asking prices" in the trade can be higher and vary.
Thank you so much! It is very heavy so glad to know ladies pocket watch and not necklace!
