Thank you for contacting Mearto with your appraisal inquiry.
It is a beautiful brooch. Such vintage jewellery are being offered at auction on a regular basis.
The brooch was made around the turn of the 1800-1900 when this particular use of materials like the pearls and peridot stone were in fashion set in a light 15 kt yellowgold mount that weighs 5 grams. It has a lovely design and appears to be in good condition.
The materials are always important when appraising jewellery and in this case the materials used are very decorative but not the most expensive ones.
The estimate provided is for a well-advertised specialised online jewellery auction, where I believe the brooch has the best chance of realising its fullest potential. However, there is no measurement for the sentimental value you might attach to the lovely brooch. Retail "asking prices" can be higher and vary.
Please let me know if you have any additional questions. I’m happy to help.
