What does this mean?

Thank you for submitting your item for appraisal. This appears to be a Sheraton style reproduction grandfather or longcase clock. Several manufacturers produced similar, Howard Miller would be one of the leading manufacturers. These decorative longcase clocks with moonphase were very popular in the 1980s, and assume the grandfather clock in your possession dates to that period. The estimate is based on similar sold at auction.
