Made by Howard Miller - it seems like it's made of oak, but I'm not sure. Definitely a high quality item. It has a few small nicks on corners but overall seems to be in very good shape.

This is great, Nate, thanks!
If you look closely at the side of the dial - near where the 2 to 4 are, you may see some words and a mechanism that you can adjust that will tell the clock which tones to play. If you tell me what those are, I can further update this appraisal but otherwise you're all set here.

Hi Delia! One is a Howard Miller serial number (377675) and the other says "Registered to Leonard E Hochmuth, February 2, 1984"
The tone is definitely musical - happy to make a recording if it's helpful and you let me know where to send it.
Thank you!
