What does this mean?

Good morning, Tracy,

Thank you for contacting Mearto with your appraisal inquiry.
The 800 indicates this is a German candelabra; the mark in the middle is too blurry to identify the town but it is almost certainly 19th century. Candelabra usually came in pairs or sets larger than singles, so if this is one of two or more than two please let me know so I can adjust the value.
Based on the photographs and information provided, and subject to examination, this is:

A German .800 silver three-light candelabra
19th Century
likely with weighted base
9 1/2 inches high, 10 inches wide
Provenance: inherited from British grandmother
$150-250
