What does this mean?

Dear Shawn,

Thank you for contacting Mearto with your appraisal inquiry. My sincere apologies for the delay with the appraisal.

The presented object appears to be a partially glazed terracotta bust with the measurements of 28 x 19 inches. This bust depicts Empire Augustus after the famous antique sculpture Augustus of Prima Porta (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Augustus_of_Prima_Porta). It was probably made in the second half of the 20th century in Italy.
This piece is in good condition and there is no serious damage visible in the images provided.
A fair market estimation would be between 200 to 500 USD.
This estimate is based on actual recent past recorded auction sales of comparable items. Retail "asking prices" can be higher and may vary.

With kind regards,
Georg
