A more mature piece—this Gucci x Adidas jacket evokes the Menendez Brothers era, steeped in Vintage LA mythology. Constructed from nylon and velvet, it mirrors the Louis Vuitton x Supreme collaboration’s defiance of windbreaker taxonomy: heavyweight materials in lightweight silhouettes, disqualifying it from the conventional “windbreaker” label. This Gucci x Adidas windbreaker meets a similar fate. Velvet—typically reserved for ceremonial or luxury contexts—is deployed here in a lightweight frame, challenging material expectations while preserving symbolic heft. As one half of the limited-edition “Adidas Gucci” Sweatsuit , originally retailed at $5,000, it stands out as a hidden gem within the Gucci x Adidas collaboration. The colorway operates as a visual distraction, yet achieves equilibrium through material psychology. Gucci’s trademark white—dim, almost institutional—is contrasted by the velvet’s muted white and the nylon’s brighter execution. This duality is most evident in the emblem, where nylon white anchors the model’s identity and serves as a legit check node.

Hi Lemarr,
Thank you for contacting Mearto with your appraisal inquiry.
The collaboration between Gucci and Adidas that featured the interlocking “GG” and the Trefoil logo was announced in early 2022, and the first pieces from the collection were released June 7, 2022. At its core, this collaboration merged Gucci’s luxury heritage (monograms, tailoring, high fashion materials) with adidas’s sportswear DNA (the Trefoil logo, three stripes, athletic forms). Gucci’s creative director Alessandro Michele described how stripes and lines were “incredible symbols” and said the collaboration was a longtime-hidden desire.
The collaboration arrived at a moment when luxury brands were increasingly embracing streetwear and athletic-influenced aesthetics. But this one stood out for the scale and the layering of heritage.
While the original two-piece suit originally retailed for $5,000, individual pieces can usually be sold for between $1,500 and $3,500. If you're selling this, I'd ask $4,000 which is a little on the high side but given that it's never-been worn you might find a buyer for it at that level.
Based on the photos and information provided, and subject to examination, this is:
