Hand carved chair with brocade seat and back
Padded area is brocade in great condition. I believe the wood is mahogany or other very dark wood. It is in beautiful condition. Measures 34 inches back to floor, 24 inches arm to arm and 16 inches seat to floor.
It was my husband’s grandparents chair. Possibly from Switzerland and was kept in Oakland Iowa. Probably is about 120 years old.

The shaped -upholstery-inset back with vigorously carved crest, carved and shaped arms raised on cabriole supports, over a shaped over-the-rail upholstered seat, raised on short cabriole legs. With a cream brocade fabric upholstery allover.
34 inches high 24 inches wide
CONDITION: appears to be in good condition with wear commensurate to age
