Hand carved wooden Buddha
The sculpture is 32 inches tall and 24 inches wide at the widest section. The Buddha appears to be Tibetan and a teaching Buddha. The wood sculpture is sitting in the lotus position with the right hand up and palm facing out. The left hands rests upon the left knee with palm facing down.
Acquired through a private party whom purchased from an antiquities dealer. Price previous owner paid is unknown. No documentation accompanied the piece.
