Dear Dee,
Your table screen is made in Japan mid 20th century. It is hand painted ( on rice paper gluet on carton ) and used to decorate houses and create atmosphere. Decoration with dragon's are appealing to many potential buyers in a salesroom or auction. Chinese art is very hot at the moment and Japanese art not so much but I am sure that if your table screen came to auction it would fetch around the estimate above.
