Considering the photographs, overall pattern, material quality and the colours, I concluded that this is a Korean Bronze or Iron Cast Buddha Bust. The piece dates back to the period from 1940 to 1975. The piece was attached to a wooden base. The piece is quite simplified and lack quite a bit of detail for an antique piece. The colour might be misleading in this case because during the mid-century iron cast copies were sold many times as bronze. However, the piece might be bronze cast with a darker patina, although a patinated bronze piece would have a more shiny apperance. The piece in in traditional proportions as usual to the period. The piece is in good condition with minor signs of use and age.
