The company was very successful and sold huge numbers especially in the last quarter of the 20th century. The tall case clock in your possession has a moon phase which makes it more attractive to buyers. Currently the supply of similar clocks is high and the demand rather weak. The estimate is based on similar sold at auction. "Asking prices" in the trade can be higher and vary.
