Hi Barb,
Thank you for contacting Mearto with your appraisal inquiry.
Hummels were highly collectible in the last half of the 20th Century; regrettably, there were so many made and so many now on the market for sale that they rarely bring more than $10-40 at auction, per piece.
If you'd like this appraisal to include dimensions, which is customary, please forward the height of each to me at your convenience and I'll update this ASAP.
Based on the photographs and information provided, and subject to examination, this is:
A Hummel porcelain collectible "Apple Tree" boy and girl figurine
made by Goebels, West Germany, bearing 'full bee' mark in use from 1960-1972
model 56A & 56B
[dimensions]
PROVENANCE: inherited
$25-45 as a pair*
*represents a fair-market value for auction purposes; retail or asking price may vary.
Please let us know if you have additional items to appraise, and thank you for using Mearto.
