On the bottom it has the v mark and Western Germany and then in the mould 11 and 2/0. Also has the M I HUMMEL in the mould at the back of the figurine. This figurine was given to my parents for an engagement present in 1957
Given to parents in Ireland for engagement present in 1956 or 57. They were married in July 1957.
Dear Linda,
Thank you for your request and your patience. The apprised object is a porcelain figurine made by the manufacturer Goebel and after the designs of Maria Innocentia Hummel (1909-1946). The name of this model is "Merry Wanderer", has the model number #11 and the hallmarks indicate that this piece was made between 1959/60-1972 (TMK-3).
This piece is in good condition and there are no serious damages visible.
An estimation would be between 40 to 60 USD.
This estimation is based on actual recent past recorded auction sales of comparables. Retail "asking prices" can be higher and vary.
With best regards,
Georg
Dear Linda,
Thank you for your email. I had a second look and this hallmark could be the "Full Bee" hallmark which was used in different varieties between 1940 to 1959 (TMK-2). I attach a link where you can see all hallmarks.

Thank you for this. I suppose it dosent change its value? Im updating my insurance and just want to make sure. Thanks
Dear Linda,
sadly it does not change the value. The "Mery Wanderer" is a model which is very often on the market.
With kind regards,
Georg
Thank you for your input Georg
Dear Linda,
you are very welcome.
With kind regards,
Georg
I find it hard to believe that it was made between 1959/60 when it was given to Mum and Dad in 1956/57 as an Engagement present. They were married in July 1957.
