Hi Eileen,
Thank you for contacting Mearto with your appraisal inquiry.
Hummel figures were incredibly popular among collectors in the 1950s-1990s and there are a lot of them on the market, unfortunately with less demand than supply so it is quite rare for individual pieces to be worth more than $5-50 each, at auction. The value can occasionally be increased if the piece retains its original factory packaging.
Hummel figures were often made in several sizes, so knowing the height will help more accurately pinpoint its value.
Based on the photos and information provided, and subject to examination, this is:
A vintage Hummel hand painted porcelain "Puppy Love" collectible figurine
Model #50, made by Goebel, West Germany, bearing the TMK-6 mark in use from 1979-1990
Depicting a young boy playing a violin in front of a seated dog, the oval base impressed M.I.Hummel and with clear label inscribed "Puppy Love," underside impressed "50"
(DIMENSIONS)
CONDITION: appears to be in good condition
