I believe the bracelet is from Tientsin from China. The bracelet has Chinese marks inside. And I no a us flag 🇺🇸 on the end cuff with Chinese characters translated in English either world or peace. And at the other end of the cuff not sure what flag it is. With Chinese characters either saying world or peace.
Chinese export
Thank you for submitting your item for appraisal. This appears to be what you suggested, a chinese silver bracelet from Tianjin, cast with the motif of a dragon chasing pearl and the inscription "world peace" and the Flags of the Republic of China (Taiwan) and the USA, ca. 1945-1949, with chinese silver hallmarks 天津義興和 and WenYin 紋銀 for sterling silver. The estimate is based on similar sold at auction. There is no measurement for the sentimental value you might attach to the item.
I respect your appraisal. Can you tell me we’re to look for similar sold at action for. Thank you
Check out chinese auction sites or yahoo auctions. The problem with peace related items is, that due to a twist in logical thinking collectors tend to appreciate war related better.
For as makers mark on the bracelet can you tell me who was the Silversmith? Thanks
Wow can you tell me what the Chinese Silver hallmarks characters translated too. And who was the silversmith. I could not find the same bracelet. Thanks
