Its a beautiful lovers sculpture engraved by the artist with the official Murano label on the base. It stands approximately 12 inches tall and weights around 1.2kg. It is in the same condition as to when i bought it, its an immaculate piece. I bought it from the Murano shop when visiting the workshop and island back in 2017.

The Tagliapietra family is one of the most well-known and famous of Murano glassmaking families of the 20th and early 21st Century but I can't tell which of these made your "Lovers" statuette, which has been one of the most popular forms in Murano, not least for its romantic associations. While the caliber of the works produced in Murano remains quite high, the volume of it has increased on the resale market with demand not always keeping pace with supply. I would not be surprised to hear that you might have paid several hundred if not a few thousand Euro for this but in the secondary market, "Lovers" statuettes rarely bring more than $500 / £400, even if by a known artisan and in excellent/like-new condition.
