My deceased Ex-husband had several beautiful, and dramatic rocks, which I inherited 10 years ago when he died. Both of us were/are, avid gardeners; so the rocks have been employed as garden ornaments, and door stops, for several decades. I have 4 total, each one radically different from the others; and so far, 3 of them are actually petrified dinosaur heads. The 4th, I am not so sure, but it does have teeth. It wasn't until June of this year--after I found a small bizarre fossil on my hard scaped, river rock dry creek feature--did I catch 'fossil fever.' The outlandish round rock in my garden suddenly sprouted teeth when I examined it closer. The pink gate stop, ditto. One head was fully encased in a gorgeous rock, until I accidentally broke it, and this amazing thing fell out. It looks like a tropical fish, so it has been displayed as an oddity. on my fireplace.

Approximately 7-8 in. tall from maxillary teeth, to top of dome. Approximately 8-10 in. long. The measurements are guesses as these are incomplete. heads. One is cleaved in half at the midline, and occipital bones, and the mandible are missing.
